Brick Depot is the Romanian LEGO partner retailer built around creativity, play, and a strong community of fans. Since opening the first Certified LEGO Store in Romania in 2013, the brand has grown into a nationwide network of physical stores alongside a rich online offering, from complete LEGO sets to an extensive catalogue of individual bricks. The website plays a key role in this ecosystem, acting as both a webshop and a digital extension of the in-store experience, where discovery, inspiration, and ease of use are essential.
Our task wasn’t to reinvent Brick Depot’s digital presence, but to carefully modernise it, translating an existing brand identity into a cleaner, more contemporary web UI, while respecting technical and structural boundaries already in place.
This was a focused cooperation, grounded in precision rather than ambition.
We approached the project as a design execution and UI modernisation effort, not a conceptual redesign. The goal was to work with what existed (brand guidelines, backend rules, layout constraints) and elevate the experience through thoughtful interface design.
Our work focused on:
Rather than proposing new visual concepts, we concentrated on refining and translating Brick Depot’s existing brand into a modern web interface that feels current, structured, and clear.

This cooperation highlighted a common reality:
By respecting existing rules instead of fighting them, we helped Brick Depot take a measured step forward, improving usability and visual clarity without destabilising their system.
